HOD Message

Food, shelter and clothing are the basic need of a human being. Food is made available to mankind in the form of fruits for survival.
When we think about shelter, we found that natural shelters are available in form of caves, but with the increase in population and development of civilization, the role of the person providing the shelter for humans and water to crops for production of food grain becomes vital in the society. And here comes the department of civil engineering.
Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways.
The department of Civil engineering, established in 2010 is one of the core department of the institute. The department has well equipped laboratories and infrastructure, at par with the best institute in the region, to feed the need of practical exposures of under graduating students of engineering & technology. The department consist of well qualified and enthusiastic faculty members, who not only imparts technical knowledge to the budding engineers but also acts as a mentor for them to transform our students into a responsible citizen of the nation.
The department organizes industrial visits, workshops and training seminars to make the students aware of the modern tools and techniques used in real world.

Intake Capacity : 60
