First Year Engineering department was established in the year 2001 and this is a common engineering discipline that deals with the basic academic knowledge of all engineering branches.
The department has qualified faculty who has highly devoted to teach as well as motivate the students for their development in all the fields. We are striving hard continuously to improve upon the quality of education and to maintain its position of leadership in engineering and technology.
The core values of the department help the students to develop their overall personality and make them worthy technocrat to compete and work at global level. Our department has been conducting seminar / conferences since its beginning to keep the faculty and students abreast with the latest developments in the field of technical education.
First Year department was started in 2001 and has come a long way since then we now have excellent infrastructure and advanced equipment at our disposal.
First year department is headed by Prof Pravinkumar G. Jadhao. The department has well qualified and experienced staff. We have excellent results and placements. The department is enriched with the laboratories of University Grant Commission standards. The laboratories are equipped with various latest software and latest hardware configurations
The department also has "Departmental Library" for the departmental students having reference as well as text books.
The department is also providing LCD and projector facility for the effective teaching.
We are providing EXPERT VIDEO LECTURES FROM PROFESSOR OF VARIOUS IIT’s through NPTEL.
Keeping in consideration of the student’s overall development, the department has undertaken various personality development courses and various value added courses with certification by reputed industry people.
Department focuses on preparing the student to face the future academic challenges of their respective branch. The department arranges various expert lectures, educational visits, programming contest for students.
The department conducts tutorials regularly for each subject so that students can clear their doubts & concepts about the respective subject.
